‘Fones’ (or ‘Busby’) is from sunny Wolverhampton. He has lived in beautiful Scotland for thirty years and his daytime (and night!) work is driving for Streamline Taxis. He is an experienced broadcaster with many years on hospital radio and pirate radio. He loves most music but his favourites are from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Liz & Felix

Liz

Liz wasn't born in Largs but was happily adopted by the town long ago. At this point she's practically part of the scenery. If you remember the Fairlie Discos, queued for the Walzers during the festival, or dodged a seagull on the prom, chances are your paths have crossed somewhere along the way.

Felix

Tyrant and self‑appointed co‑host of Liz's show. He’s opinionated, dramatic, and fully convinced he runs the show — and honestly, he might be right.

Carole is a Shamanic and Kundalini yoga teacher, a wellbeing guide with a deep love for mindfulness, astrology, nature and authentic human connection. Her radio show explores self healing, wellbeing and personal growth through meaningful music, conversations and inspiring guest stories of transformation. Designed to uplift and encourage reflection, the show gently reminds listeners of the healing potential within us all, while bringing positivity, connection and inspiration to the community each week.

Norie discovered his passion for broadcasting in hospital radio, and it was there that he gained experience behind the microphone and developed the confidence and skills that would lead him to Irvinebeat FM, his first live broadcast. Since then, he’s worked with Mearns FM in Aberdeen and Sunshine Radio in London, among others. He is still part of the Irvinebeat FM team, where he has a regular Tuesday lunchtime slot from 12 noon until 3pm. For Norie, radio is about much more than simply talking into a microphone. It’s about connecting with listeners, playing great music, sharing stories and hopefully making someone’s day that little bit better.
